Advancia Honored for Work on the Army's Future

Oklahoma City, OK, April 14, 2008 – Advancia Corporation, a 100 percent tribal-owned company operating in 20 locations nationwide, has received a 2008 Future Combat Systems Small Business Award.  The awards, presented by the Boeing Company, recognize suppliers who demonstrate excellence in support of the Army’s Future Combat Systems (FCS) program, a technology modernization effort.

Advancia was one of seven businesses honored and received the Veteran Owned Small Business Award.  Advancia developed interactive multimedia instruction products and technical manuals for the FCS’s Unattended Ground Sensor System and the Army’s Intelligent Munitions System.  As part of its work, Advancia analyzes, designs, develops, implements and evaluates training-related products and manuals for these programs.

The FCS Small Business Award winners were selected by a team of representatives from large business FCS-partner companies which include Boeing, BAE Systems, Honeywell International, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Textron and Raytheon.

“This is a massive defense program and to be one of a handful of companies recognized for our work is a testimony to our capabilities and deliverables,” Renee Porter, President of Advancia said.
